UCL BioSoc is a community of over 400 Biological Sciences students. As President, I have built a close-knit committee and fostered a genuine enthusiasm for science among our members.
Together with a committee of six, we delivered 18 events throughout the year, including academic panels, lab visits, pub socials, and our two flagship events, Boat Ball and Cumberland Lodge, creating opportunities for students to connect both academically and socially.
BioSoc Conference Retreat →
For two consecutive years, I led the planning and delivery of BioSoc's flagship 3-day conference retreat at Windsor Castle.
I coordinated logistics for 100+ participants, including professors and students, and designed promotional campaigns that increased student participation by 28%.
Throughout the weekend, we hosted informal talks and debates designed to spark meaningful discussion on biological topics.
